Thanks you NEW YORK! Anime Next was a big success for us & lots of FUN!!!

The first day was completely CRAZY! We were totally lost in the highway /service road ramps, numerous parking lots and the super-long LINE-UPs. Eventually, all four of us reached the Artists Alley. We weren’t even completely set up when the first wave of crowd hit us. Our busy Friday proves that BLEACH really is the RED HOT stuff now! Our new bleach t-shirts and mousepads were almost sold out. It’s unfortunate that we are too far from home to replenish our stock. [They are now available online!!!]

Saturday was a really long day, and it was FREEZING COLD in there! My utmost admirations for those hard core OTAKUs. GREAT CUSTUMES, DEDICATION & ENDURANCE to the crazy micro-climate. We have such cool outfits for Bleach too~ But we decided it was too much to bring for the 10 hour drive. {sob sob…}

We finally had the chance to check out the dealers’ room, various event, and chat with other artists. It is very tempting to see all that beautiful art and art books. We finished the day off with some chicken nuggets and beer at the hotel, tired and satisfied.

Sunday was short and sweet. It was most rewarding to see fans walking around with our t-shirts or buttons on; or to see people with irresistible urge to buy the Tarot Cards. {hehe..} When we finally leave the parallel universe of MANGA & ANIME, the sun was out and smiling at us. We headed to Manhattan for our celebration RAMEN (most fittingly), and the most delicious APPLE STREUDEL. {yammy}
